Chihuahua missing from Miami grooming business reunited with family – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

MIAMI (WSVN) – A Miami family is overjoyed after being reunited with their missing Chihuahua.

Six-year-old Hershey was found on Tuesday morning.

Hershey went missing from Ana’s Pet Grooming on Southwest Eighth Street and 67th Avenue, last Friday.

“She’s my everything,” said Andrea Arocha. “If you have her, if you’ve seen her, please call the numbers you see on the flyers. She means more to me than anything.”

Hershey slipped through a gap in the fence and she was seen on surveillance video roaming the back alley before she disappeared.

The family pleaded for the public’s help to find Hershey on Monday night.

They put up more than 1,000 flyers and offered a $2,000 reward.

A man called the family and told them he was letting her stay in his warehouse out of fear she was in danger in the street. He said the dog wouldn’t let him go near her.

When the family arrived, they found Hershey hiding in her little dress. They headed straight for the vet.

Hershey was dehydrated and had some bug bites, but she is expected to be OK.
